6. Toyota Highlander
That the Toyota Highlander appears so early in our ranking is no cause for panic – more than anything it’s because this model plows its trade so discretely, it’s easy to forget! The Highlander is also starting to age, with its last major update going back to 2014. Like the Honda Pilot, for example, it does just about everything well and ensures peace-of-mind ownership.
There’s also the matter of the hybrid version – it brings fuel consumption down below 9.0L/100 km, which is fantastic for this segment.
