4- Cadillac Escalade
As it is with the Lincoln Navigator, so it is with the Escalade. While Cadillac’s luxury SUV seems like a close relative of the Chevrolet Tahoe & Suburban and the GMC Yukon & Yukon XL, it is distinct enough for us to consider it separately. While a direct rival to the Navigator, the Escalade counts instead on a 6.2L V8 generating 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque working in conjunction with a 10-speed automatic transmission; its rear suspension, however, is solid-axle. Maximum towing capacity is 8,100 lbs with all-wheel drive, though that drops to 7,900 if you opt for the stretched ESV version. We expect to see the Escalade, which can accommodate up to eight occupants, get a design refresh within the next few months.
