*Uni-T AQ II:
Bridgestone's AQ II technology with Super Extended Performance Optimization (Super EPO) further enhances wet traction into the future. When added to UNI-T tires, AQII technology retains even more of the tire's wet traction even as the tread wears down.
Super EPO (Extended Performance Optimization) goes beyond the original EPO technology to improve wet handling as the tire wears. It combines an anti-hardening resin and link-stabilizing agent to counteract the effects of heat so that worn tires have the tread rubber flexibility needed for increased wet performance. An enhanced dual layer tread compound exposes a section of the high wet grip tread layer in the centre of new tires for more precise wet handling. Then as the tire wears down more of the underlying tread rubber is exposed so the tire continues to grip the road in wet conditions.
