From hundreds of current-year models tested by Consumer Reports, these are the models it deemed the best in 10 different categories. The organization explains it only considers models that come standard with forward collision warning (FCW) and automatic emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian detection. CR awards extra points to models that have these and blind spot monitoring as standard on all trims.
