What are the 10 best car interiors of 2016? WardsAuto magazine has published its latest rankings, and premium brands now occupy most of the spots. Explanation?
“It’s important that the Wards 10 Best Interiors list include mainstream, affordable vehicles,” says Drew Winter, director-content at WardsAuto. “But the average price of a new vehicle in the U.S. has risen past $33,000, which is forcing us to reconsider how we define mainstream, affordable vehicles.”
A team of eight magazine editors selected the winners after spending February and March evaluating 47 different car interiors, including 19 from luxury models. They assessed various aspects such as aesthetics and design harmony, as well as materials, ergonomics, safety, comfort, value, and fit and finish.
