8 – 2019 BMW 530e iPerformance: 79.83 points
The biggest factor that allowed BMW to place a model on this Top 10 list of best fuel-efficient vehicles is the overall quality of the 5 Series. The 530e makes it because it offers a high level of luxury and a superb driving experience. On the other hand, its all-electric range is pretty puny at some 25 km. The panel was no more impressed by the size of the trunk, which the electric motor’s battery pack eats into.
