10 –1990 Oldsmobile Expression Concept
If Oldsmobile had gone ahead with this van, it might have revolutionized the market six years after the launch of the dodge Caravan. The Expression concept was presented at the 1990 Chicago auto show and featured four directional wheels, fibre-glass panels, bucket seats in the first two rows and two other reversed seats in back. Yes, reversed, because seated that way, passengers had access to an infotainment system integrated in the rear hatch door. The model also had a built-in vacuum, more than 25 years before Honda did the same with its Odyssey.

The Alero Alpha concept would lead eventually to the birth of the Alero production model two years later. The design study was heavily influenced by the Aurora, one of the more spectacular production models around at the time.
