2019 is knocking at the door, which means we’re turning our attention ever more intently to what’s coming down the pike in the coming months. We’ve already gotten previews of some models – check out our rundown of the Top 10 new debuts at the recent Los Angeles Auto Show – but there are a whole lot more to come in the very near-future. Here’s a wide-ranging but still incomplete list of the most promising and intriguing models we’ll be seeing in the next year or two.
2022 Alfa Romeo 8C
We start off with the Alfa Romeo 8C, a prestigious nameplate last used back in 2010. For its big return the manufacturer has put aside the engine placement between the front wheels for a mid-engine configuration. And since the brand’s strategy is to push full steam ahead with electrification, the new 8C will come with a plug-in hybrid system. Overall output of the new powertrain should hover around 700 hp, no less.
