Samaras is currently using the A.R.E. TWISTEX Probe on tornado-chasing missions from the team’s home base in Colorado all the way to Texas, Indiana and even Canada, covering nearly 50,000 kilometres in the next two months. Footage from these trips will be featured in Season 4 of “Storm Chasers,” which premieres this fall on Discovery Channel.
A.R.E. is all about trucks!
Ohio-based A.R.E. was founded by Sal Gatti, Jonas Yoder and Aden Miller in 1969 to manufacture aluminum frame truck caps. The company’s name comes from the first initial of Sal Gatti's three oldest children: Anne Marie, Ralph, and Elizabeth.
Since it was created, the company has become a major manufacturer of fiberglass truck caps and hard tonneau covers with a North-American network of over 500 independent authorized dealers, including 60 in Canada.
