Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. announced today its return as sponsor and Official Tire of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) for six live Pay-Per-View events in 2011 as well as select UFC Fight Night events broadcast on VERSUS and Spike TV.
Toyo Tires used to sponsor the mixed martial arts organization from 2006 to 2008.
Fans attending UFC 129 at Toronto's Rogers Centre on April 30 to watch Georges ''Rush'' St-Pierre take on Jake Shields will spot the tire manufacturer's name and logo in many different ways and locations in and out of the stadium.
That's huge since UFC programming is currently broadcast in over 145 countries and territories, reaching 354 million homes worldwide.
''UFC continues to grow, as does their dedicated fan base. This renewed sponsorship places the Toyo Tires name in front of those loyal fans,'' said Stan Chen, manager of events and motorsports, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.
