Adjustable parts? Semi-metallic brakes? Ferrari suspension? If you're getting the impression that the Revo 3.3 is a purpose built mini racer, you're right.

But, unlike a toy, Nitro Racers can teach pre-driving age kids valuable lessons when it comes to maintaining and properly treating a vehicle.

There is a recommended break-in period for the engine, as well as regular after-use maintenance to be performed any time the Revo is taken out in the dirt. The air filter, for instance, should be cleaned every hour in extremely dusty situations. Like a real car, if you don't maintain it, it won't last- a valuable lesson to get kids learning at an early age.

Fun that's also educational? Yes, but its hidden well. If your kids get their hands on one of these machines, chances are you'll have a hard time getting them inside for the rest of the summer, so you probably don't want to show them this article. Or maybe you do.
