While CBB’s two finalists offer above all a restful and quiet drive, the Porsche Panamera draws inspiration from the brand's sporting past with handling and performance worthy of the 911. Some might say that the design of this first generation is not its greatest quality, but evidently this hasn’t been enough to dampen the model’s retained value.

The mere fact that the three finalists in this category come from the German brand is a testament to the high market value of the sports cars produced by the Stuttgart-based automaker. As for the value of each of these rear-engine (911) or mid-engine (Boxster or Cayman) sports cars, the first position held by the 911 should come as no surprise.
