Designed to create excitement and additional showroom traffic and offer owners a higher degree of originality, Volkswagen has announced the production of three limited-edition models to be built off of the original machines specifications while adding unique styling cues and design elements.

The Wolfsburg edition Jetta package is back, this time leveraging the brands German heritage with special 16-inch wheels, sunroof, leather, cold weather package and oversized floormats. Available with a selection of color schemes, the model can also be fitted with an automatic or manual transmission. The Wolfsburg package represents outstanding value compared to a similarly equipped Jetta.

Next is the Fahrenheit GTI which showcases a gorgeous and energetic new exterior color which Volkswagen calls Fahrenheit Orange. Only 1200 will be produced, with each unit carrying its individual number on a plaque fixed to the steering wheel. 18-inch wheels, Fahrenheit badging, sports suspension, sunroof, and heated leather sport seats are included. Sirius satellite radio is optionally available as well.
The Fahrenheit GLI is similarly equipped to its GTI partner, though it sports a different yellow color for the exterior paint and interior trim. Only 1200 will be produced.

The New Beetle Triple White Convertible serves up a new color scheme that shows strong ties to the original Beetle ragtop. The exterior, interior and roof-boot are all finished in white, and the model is fitted with an automatic transmission. 3000 examples will be built and are to feature 17-inch wheels, leather steering wheel, seats and armrest, black carpeting and Sirius satellite radio.
Both the Beetle Triple White and the GTI Fahrenheit models will be available to Canadian enthusiasts, though no date has yet been established.
