Volkswagen has released the first picture of its new three-row midsize SUV. Actually, it’s just the metal test body.
Production will begin later this year at the Chattanooga, Tennessee assembly plant. The model will go on sale in 2017.
The first test body build is for the purposes of checking the calibration of body shop equipment and processes. The body is then passed on for further testing and development.
