Petter Solberg finally secured the budget to run the whole WRC 2011 championship aboard a new Citroën DS3 R3.
After he locked his entry for the opening round in Sweden only in the last moments, Solberg finally announced that he will be able to race all the 2011 events, still with his private World Petter Solberg Rally Team.
Meanwhile, Kimi Raikkonen, who will also race with his own team, Ice 1 Racing, will take part to 10 out of 13 rounds this season, also on the new DS3 R3.
Petter Van Merkjstein Jr will be forced to delay his debuts, as only four DS3 will be ready for Rally Sweden in February. The dutch driver will have to wait until Rally Portugal in March to receive the last DS3.
