The World Rally Cars of 2011 have reached the paddock in Sweden for the opening round of the WRC this weekend. Kimi Raikkonen’s private Citroen DS3 R3 has arrived in a black and white livery, without any sponsors.

Kimi Raikkonen has completed his budget for the 2011 season at the last moment, and the Finn intends to take part to 10 out of 13 events this year (he won’t run in Mexico, Argentina and Australia).

Raikkonen will now run under its own team - Ice1Racing Team - and will probably pay his season himself as no sponsors can be seen on his 2011 car (even not Red Bull, that backed his first WRC season last year).

On the other hand, Lotus Renault GP F1 team is rumoured to have contacted Kimi Raikkonen’s management team to replace Robert Kubica, who will be out for a long time following his rally accident in Italy. Will the Finn resist to the temptation of making a return in Formula 1?
