Rob Huff and Alain Menu's Chevrolet were the winners of a hectic week-end in Pau. No less than nine drivers saw their qualifying time cancelled yesterday for "abnormal technicalities." Priaulx, who had set pole, was one of them. But this was only the beginning...

The week-end had started on a bad note, the FIA asking Seat to downturn the pressure produced by their turbo. A communiqué yesterday showed the brand was, let's say, quite unhappy about the FIA's decision that had put them 15th to 18th on the grid.

Anyhow, Rob Huff was the winner of the first race in front of BMW drivers Augusto Farfus and Jörg Müller. Although this race went well, the second one had its share of unexpected surprises...

After total chaos in lap one, the independent driver Franz Engstler was leading the race... until the safety car totally crashed his BMW while getting out on the track!!! Red Flag was the result of this incredible accident.

It took 30 minutes to resume a race finally won by Chevrolet once again. This time Alain Menu was the winner in front of Augusto Farfus and Rob Huff, who gets some more well deserved championship points.

And with all the controversies surrounding Seat Leon cars, Yvan Muller stays in championship lead with a 7th place finish.

Who said these races were boring? Well this one will for sure remain as one of the "incredible" and "totally unexpected" ones in fans' minds!
