Rob Huff (Chevrolet) secured pole position for race 1 of the WTCC in Macau ahead of his teammate and championship rival Yvan Muller. Franz Engstler will start from pole position in race 2.

Huff, who stands 20 points behind Muller in the point standings before both final rounds in Macau, dominated the session, and was able to beat his teammate for the pole by 0,266 seconds.

Huff will start in first position for race 1, and will start from P3 in race 2. Meanwhile, Muller will start 2nd and 8th, which could put him in a tough situation for the race. Anything can happen in the championship battle between both Chevrolet drivers.
