Unlike anything
Acceleration was not as voracious as the GT but the car could still keep up with the surrounding traffic. The engine's cacophony was muted but, strangely, the brakes and steering both felt more collaborative. Neither were as sharp though; my guess is that this very-low mileage car simply drove “like-new” as opposed to the Carrera GT, which had seen much track and racing time.

At the end of the drive, amongst ourselves, the inevitable question came up: Which of the two would I take home? A very tough question. The only sensible way to answer the question was, for me, the Speedster. The Carrera GT would have to go on the track. It would be competitive however if something should fail, the cost would be astronomical. I therefore would keep the keys to the Speedster and enjoy it until my driver's license was revoked.

This whole experience was so surreal that, when I think back to it, it registers as a dream and not reality. I think this is why it was so difficult for me to write this review. As I re-read the article, I don't even believe in what I wrote...

Thank you Ferry and thank you Porsche.
