The forgotten
Potential buyers won’t find anything surprising or refreshing about the powertrain, especially not with regard to fuel economy (my tester averaged 13 L/100 km).

On the plus side, the Endeavor comes standard with a transfer case oil cooler, heavy-duty radiator, power steering oil cooler and trailer hitch pre-wire allowing a 1,588-kg (3,500-lb) towing capacity.

Cosmetic tweaks
Despite its low-scale distribution in Canada, the manufacturer still applied a number of cosmetic tweaks. The 2010 Endeavor gets a redesigned front grille and rear hatch as well as new taillights. Meanwhile, the 17-inch alloy wheels now sport a brushed metal finish.

The interior remains identical, however. The dashboard looks just as chunky and cumbersome… and black, of course. In fact, the entire cabin is draped in black, including the door panels and standard leather seats.

But unlike the Honda Accord Crosstour, which also offers all-black interiors with little outward visibility, the Endeavor boasts generous glass areas that pleasantly bring light — and life — to the otherwise sinister cockpit.

Actually, this rare Mitsubishi specimen provides a much better view of the driver’s surroundings than the majority of modern SUVs and crossovers. No need to resort to a back-up camera when executing parking manœuvres! Why is the Endeavor doomed again?

Friendly environment
For 2010, Bluetooth connectivity was added to the list of standard features. The front buckets may lack side support, especially given the significant amount of body roll in corners, but they’re heated and ample enough to make large individuals feel comfortable.
