Audi Announces endurance line up for 2011

The Audi team, that once again won the 24 Hours of Le Mans last year, has kept its usual drivers for the 2011 season, the firm from Ingolstadt will enter the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup.

The leading car will once again be driven by experienced drivers Tom Kristensen, Dindo Capello and Allan McNich for Sebring, first round of the ILMC season, but also the opening round of the ALMS championship. The three drivers will be associated again in 6 Hours of Spa, round 2 of ILMC, and second race of the LMS season.

Kristensen and McNish will then team in the remaining rounds of ILMC after Le Mans. The second car in Sebring, but also in Le Mans, will be driven by Timo Bernhard, Romain Dumas and Mike Rockenfeller. A third R15 car will be ran in Le Mans, with Marcel Fässler, Andre Lotterer and Benoit Treluyer.

Finally, the second car for remaing ILMC races after Le Mans will be driven by Timo Bernhard and Marcel Fässler.
