MONTREAL, - Still two (2) days remain to experience the 42nd Edition of the Montreal International Auto Show (MIAS). The event will officially close its doors at the Palais des congrès de Montréal on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at 8 p.m. Already, over 90 % of visitors surveyed said they were extremely pleased with their visit and 72 % mentioned they intend to come back next year. So, for those who have yet to attend, this weekend marks your final chance to take in this exciting event!


Here are some of the incredible things you will find at this 42nd Edition:
- 34 unveilings: 1 North-American unveiling, 22 Canadian unveilings, 4 Regional unveilings, 3 Concepts vehicles and 4 special presentations.

- Auto Hebdo presents three (3) special attractions:
- Microcars: a stunning exhibit of eight (8) microcars, featuring the Peel P50, holder of the Guinness World record for the world's smallest mass-produced automobile.

- Quebec Creations: an exhibit featuring five (5) cars made in Quebec since the dawn of the automotive era, including the very first automobile manufactured in Canada, the steam-powered Boghei created by Henry Seth Taylor during the 1860's.

- 1930's Classic Cars, supplied by John Scotti Auto: a stunning private collection of eight (8) dazzling vehicles. Two (2) of these cars are worth $1.5 million!

- AUTO123.COM Interactive Zone: this attraction gives you the chance to try out one of five (5) incredibly realistic race car simulators, including the Hexatech simulator from the Netherlands, presented for the very first time in Canada.

- On Route to the Future: this section, presented in collaboration with Natural Resources Canada, is the perfect place to learn all about the new innovations, as well as the ongoing evolution, of all the various new green technologies being offered today. Among the exhibitors, you won't want to miss the North American Premier unveiling, the electric BlueCar. Also, four (4) universities present their latest achievements.

- Test drives: following the success in 2009, visitors will once again have the chance to take one of our alternative energy vehicles for a test drive. Twelve (12) vehicles are available for visitors to try out (certain conditions apply).

- 7th Heaven: breathtaking vehicles are presented for the unadulterated pleasure of the eyes and to excite the imagination of car lovers everywhere. Everyone will find something to dream about in this little slice of heaven!

This year's edition promises to be one to remember!
