Although wireless Internet is not a bad thing at all, using it in a motor vehicle might be. GM can claim that their system is designed for use by passengers, the only person who would really need it, and will use it most, is the driver. There already are too many distractions in a techno-filled vehicle to divert the person behind the wheel's attention, such as Bluetooth, navigation systems as well as lane-departure and blind-spot monitors.

And although being able to use our electronic gadgets without the burden of wires is great, more and more studies are showing that the waves emitted by these transmitting devices possibly have a negative impact on our health.

We dare you to sit in a moving car while playing Unreal Tournament III online without throwing up. If you need to update your Facebook profile while you're driving, we think you might have a serious addiction.
