The Curb is equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-litre engine with direct injection, mated to a double-clutch sequential transmission and providing 175 horsepower as well as 169 lb-ft of torque. By adding start-stop technology, the Curb could consume less than 7.84 L/100 km (30 US mpg) around town and less than 5.88 L/100 km (40 US mpg) on the open road.

The urban look of the little crossover is highlighted by 22-inch alloys wrapped with Michelin tires that boast a saffron colour tread pattern. The exhaust outlets pop out to reveal a bike rack.

Inside, Hyundai emphasized connectivity. A big acrylic screen allows passenger to pass info to one another via touch-screens, while the front headrests include integrated monitors. The company’s Blue Link system is also incorporated, which is controlled with the help of a 12-inch touch-screen.
