One of the most anticipated vehicles from Detroit's 2011 North American International Auto Show was the Hyundai Veloster. Unveiled for the very first time, it delighted visitors and journalists.

It offers the style of a coupe, the functionality of a hatchback and great rear seat access thanks to its third door that incorporates a handle in the C pillar. Under the hood, the car offers a direct injected, four-cylinder 1.6-liter engine that produces 138 horsepower and 123 lb.-ft. of torque and will consume less fuel than the Honda CR-Z.

Find out why this vehicle attracted so much attention and discover the new Veloster with these pictures taken by our team!
