The new Ferrari GTC4Lusso T, the first Ferrari 4-seater to sport a turbocharged V8 engine, will be launched at the 2016 Paris Auto Show, the company announced.
Based on the GTC4Lusso that was unveiled in Geneva earlier this year and featured a naturally aspirated V12 engine, the T variant uses Ferrari’s award-winning 3.9L twin-turbocharged V8 (a.k.a. the 2016 International Engine of the Year) to produce 602 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 560 lb-ft of torque from 3,000-5,250 rpm ― good for 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and a top speed in excess of 320 km/h.
The Ferrari GTC4Lusso T is said to be aimed at owners seeking a car that is sporty and versatile, as well as perfect for driving on a daily basis. Thrilling driving dynamics are delivered by a combination of rear-wheel drive, 4-wheel steering, and lighter overall weight with an increased bias towards the rear (46:54). The rich, powerful soundtrack under acceleration becomes more muted at lower speeds.
As reported in July, a Ferrari LaFerrari Spider convertible is also coming to the 2016 Paris Auto Show.
