Before the Flex, a Ford F-150
The Flex Foose crossover marks the second Ford project for Chip Foose. At the CIAS, America's number two automaker also displayed a special-edition F-Series called the F-150 Foose. This production model inspired from the F-150 FX2 Sport features a lowered sport-tuned suspension, 22-inch alloys and a Roush-tuned 5.4L supercharged V8 developing 450 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Good news: it will be sold in Canada starting this spring.
Asked about future partnerships with Ford, Chip Foose unhesitatingly replied: "I would love to do a Mustang! It would be fun to work with Roush : let them do the performance, we'll do the styling and Ford can sell it!"
