Fiona MacNeil knows a thing or two about looking good. As the only female member of Team Nissan, her keen sense of style is what attracted her to the upcoming small crossover, called Rogue.

Fiona MacNeil, Team Nissan's only girl, appreciated the Rogue's finer details.

"It's got red stitching on the seats. Something little, but I notice stuff like that" she said. "I like shopping too- and there's an intelligent key, so you don't have to put your bags down and look for it. The glovebox will hold a huge laptop, and there are power outlets everywhere." MacNeil got to work with a product trainer at Nissan for a full day to prepare for her role at Team Nissan in the Autoshow.

Rogue aside, the real buzz at the Nissan Tent was caused by the new Altima Coupe. Its striking style and aggressive stance grabbed and held the attention of anyone nearby. It was parked near the Honda Accord Coupe, with which it will compete intensely in the market. Both machines are now on the competing for your dollars, and both are going to be a hot item for 2008.

From affordable to exotic, the Porsche exhibit featured several models like the Cayman, Cayenne, and 911, from the German automaker. Students Graham Sharp and Oliver Orlie presented the models, and are auto show veterans. Last year, Sharp was part of the team responsible for setting up and tearing down the event, while Orlie was a product ambassador for Kia. They told me that students are often randomly assigned to brands, tthough some choice is available. In their second year of the show, students are able to apply as a team captain or ambassador with a specific company they are interested in.

Duncan Stalker appreciates the style and selection offered by the new Cadillac CTS.
For Duncan Stalker and Scott O'Leary, the brand of choice was Cadillac- and in particular the striking new CTS. First year students, both were excited to be working closely with GM product trainers on the show.

Of the new CTS, O'Leary was most impressed with the style brought about by a recent re-design.

"They're a premium brand that cares about the younger folks in the mid-price range" he said. "It starts at around $38,000, which is very reasonable, and you can have it any way you want".

Stalker elaborated. "There are two engines- both 3.6 litres but with two different horsepower levels. Then, you can have a six-speed in automatic or manual, and all-wheel-drive. You can get the powertrain however you like it. And a sporty, all wheel drive, manual car is something people my age love".
