The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 made its dynamic debut in front of thousands of spectators during the Le Mans Classic race this past weekend. The company also celebrated the 60th anniversary of the D-type, a 3-time Le Mans winner which served as inspiration for Project 7.

As the most powerful and fastest production Jaguar to date, the F-Type Project 7 uses a 567-horsepower, 5.0L V8 engine to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 300 km/h. Equipped with an 8-speed QuickShift transmission, the car is both track- and street-legal, and features a removable top.

Thanks to its aluminum construction and bespoke carbon-fibre aerodynamic aids, the Jaguar F-Type Project 7 is 80kg lighter than the regular coupe. Carbon-ceramic brakes are part of the mix, too.
