Developed by the company’s design studios in California and Korea, it demonstrates how you don’t have to sacrifice styling or functionality in the name of efficiency.
Like other Kia models, the Niro features numerous advanced driving aids and technologies such as emergency braking, lane departure warning, and rear cross traffic alert.
Inside, the layout is user-friendly and futuristic at the same time, with plenty of room for passengers, as well. In order to minimize weight, Kia engineers chose aluminum for the hood, rear section, and many suspension components. They also eliminated the 12V battery in favour of a high-voltage lithium-polymer unit.
