GranTurismo (Maserati Coupe Concept)
Maserati's new coupe, although similar to those that came before it, has grown in size. Engines and transmissions will still be sourced from Ferrari. The new 2+2 Coupe will be followed by a Spyder and a hardtop convertible in the near future. Unlike the previous Macerate coupes, this new car has been designed by Pininfarina instead of Giorgetto Giugiaro from ItalDesign.
Quattroporte Automatic
When the Quattroporte was launched a couple of years ago, the car was applauded for its breathtaking styling and terrific engine. Its automated manual transmission, however, deserved itself a unanimous thumbs-down. It now comes with a new and conventional automatic in the Quattroporte sedan. Built by ZF, the new 6-speed gearbox required some modifications underneath the car for it to fit. The car's weight distribution goes from 47% in front and 53% in rear to 49% and 51% respectively.
