Maserati says it's the 'ultimate' expression of their flagship model. It's called the Quattroporte Sport GT S, and it's going to be a smash-hit when shown to the public at this years Frankfurt International Auto Show.
Riding on racing-specification springs and a lowered, stiffened suspension, the GT S designated model is developed to be even more responsive and precise than the standard car. Cross-drilled, composite Brembo disc brakes are also fitted- including single-piece six-piston calipers up front. This is the first such setup on a road car, says Maserati.
Assertive and aggressive, the exterior of the Sport GT S wears body-colored door handles and twin tailpipes, while a black chrome mesh grille caps the front, the color repeating in the window frames.
Inside, leather and Alcantara suede are the materials of choice for the seats and door panels. The centre of the driver's attention is a new instrument panel with carbon fibre and aluminum weaved into its design.
