Tony Stewart (Camry No 20) had no problem grabbing the pole for Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide race at the Talladega Superspeedway at 185.308 mph.

Second best qualifying time belongs to Mike Bliss (Chevy No 1) followed by Jason Leffler (Camry No 38).

Rookie Dario Franchitti (Dodge No 40) will start fourth.

Canadians Patrick Carpentier (Dodge No 9) and D.J. Kennington (Dodge No 81) will start respectively 12th and 17th.
