Launched just in time for fall and the harvest season, the Harvest Editions of Ram trucks are designed to meet the needs of growers and farmers from coast to coast. They will be available in black or white as well as in two exclusive colours: Case IH Red and New Holland Blue, both in the image of the like-named tractors built by subsidiaries of CNH Industrial, itself part of the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. group.
Explained Mike Manley, Head of Jeep & Ram Brands, FCA Global, “Farmers have been asking for these colours ever since the debut of Ram’s landmark ‘Farmer’ ad. The Ram Harvest Edition truck will allow farm families to get their work done while proudly showing their agricultural brand loyalty.”
The Harvest Edition is available with all Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 models that are equipped with 4-door cabins, of all body lengths. All currently available engine setups, including the 5.7L and 6.4L HEMI V8s as well as the 6.7L Cummins turbo-diesel, will be offered with the new editions.
Notable design elements include a distinctive chrome luxury grille, brilliant-finish bumpers, chromed 17-inch wheels (Ram 1500) or 18-inch polished forged aluminum wheels (Ram 2500 and 3500), as well as chrome accents on the mirrors, door handles and dual exhaust tips (for the V8-equipped models).
