Yesterday, Matt St-Pierre published
an article about Honda's woes and the importance of the Civic in their line-up. Today, we discovered a series of photos that made us think about the future of the company and its sales.

A Brazilian website revealed images (
for all the images take a look at their article here) taken from an informant who managed to take pictures of the 2012 Civic on a trip to Japan. According to the information they gathered and we interpreted, this car is likely to be the one that will shortly be delivered to North America.
It seems as though the concept vehicle that was presented at Detroit's North American International Auto Show will be little or no different from the production version. Aside from the head and tail lights that are no longer blacked out, the whole remains essentially the same for the sedan, which is essentially the same as the Civic we have known since the 2006 model-year.
Now put yourself in the shoes of a consumer who is looking for a compact vehicle. Would you go with a Ford Focus, a Hyundai Elantra, or this refreshed all-new but not really Honda Civic?
