With GM's full-size pickup trucks, it's a different story. In the 1500 version, the 3.0L 6-cylinder remains new, but our first contact with it proved to be very positive and promising. With plenty of torque to spare, this variant it's sure to interest some 1500-series buyers.
However, its long-term reliability remains unknown. When you step up to the ultra-rugged models, however, you’re talking about products that have proven themselves. If we’re in HD mode, we're definitely turning to the 6.6L V8 turbocharged diesel engine.
