The brand new 2017 Volvo V90 Cross Country luxury wagon made its auto show debut in Los Angeles last week. Also on the display was the 2017 Volvo V60 Polestar performance wagon.
This was a calculated move by the Swedish automaker as the U.S. and especially the Western region are very strong markets for both Cross Country and Polestar.
Introduced to the world late this summer, the eagerly awaited V90 Cross Country completes Volvo’s 90 Series. It’s described as “the perfect luxury getaway car, as capable and comfortable on the daily commute as it is taking the family hiking or skiing.” Check out full pricing details.
Meanwhile, Polestars are driver’s cars for the educated enthusiast seeking something unique, per Volvo, and the latest V60 improves on its 2016 predecessor with a 362-horsepower version of Volvo’s Drive-E powertrain, making it the quickest car in company history (0-100 km/h in a tad over 4.5 seconds with a limited top speed of 250 km/h).
