Rob Huff took the pole position in World Touring Car Championship in Zolder today.
Huff led a lap of 1:38.458 on board of his Chevrolet car. His teammate, Alain Menu, had the best of the rest with a lap only 0.140 seconds slower than that of Huff.
Chevrolet missed a 1-2-3 top of the grid by few as Yvan Muller looked on his way to achieve a great flying lap until he missed his exit on turn 4.
Gabriele Tarquini qualified in third despite his three strong sectors in his best qualifying lap. Tiago Monteiro completed the top-5 behind Muller, 4th.
The race one grid will feature the results of Q2 (top-10) and the results of Q1 (from 11th on) while race two will feature Q1 results with a reversed top-10.
This means Fredy Barth will lead race two ahead of Franz Engstler and Gabriele Tarquini, in third.
