Alex Tagliani won’t be back behind the wheel of the No.34 Dallara of Conquest Racing, the team having no more budgets to complete the 2010 IndyCar season.
In the meantime, rumours abound that the Canadian is on the verge of signing a contract with a top IRL team for 2010 and that the contract could be good for the long term. Tagliani would not comment only to say that exciting things are coming... Meanwhile, the veteran driver bought a NASCAR Canadian Tire racer from Peter Gibbons and, with the help of his personal sponsors; he will race at both Trois-Rivières and Montreal for the upcoming series races. Finally, Tagliani should be confirmed in his role as driver with the Germain Racing team for the NAPA 200. Photos: Philippe Champoux - Auto123.com
