2002 GMC Envoy - Nuclear Families Rejoice!

With 100 years of exclusive truck production under its belt, GMC has added yet another model to its increasing line-up. The 2002 Envoy is a radical move away from its Sonoma truck based progeny, offering GM faithful more power, more refinement and much more style.

More style? Oh yes, this Envoy is good looking! The familiar GMC grille now cants back aerodynamically, preceding a wind-cheating theme that's apparent from every angle. Flush headlamps join wrap-around turn signals that blend seamlessly into bulging front fender flares. The look is both sophisticated and tough.

A large greenhouse makes for good visibility wherever you're seated. That said there's comfortable seating for five large adults in the SLE and SLT, and seven in the new XL - yes, even 6' 2" adults fit in the third row. Rear passengers can also enjoy DVD movies on a 7" flip down screen on the optional entertainment system.

High-tech options are great, but what comes standard? The SLE (base) includes a 6-speaker AM/FM audio system with single CD, a leather tilt steering wheel, power windows, locks and mirrors, heated seats and dual-zone heating/ventilation with air conditioning, plus separate airflow controls for rear passengers. A power driver's seat includes the ability for two separate drivers to tailor seat position, side mirror position, radio stations, HVAC settings and more.
