The German hot rod
A 3,600-pound bundle of steel propelled by 443 lb-ft of torque decked out in a lovely sedan outfit, that's the secret behind the C63 AMG. This division of Mercedes-Benz has all the know-how required to produce überpowerful cars. It's not surprising that the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) is so popular. It's the European version of NASCAR only better, because you can actually buy these incredible cars, or almost anyways. Here, on the contrary, a rear-wheel-drive Toyota Camry V8 can only be found trackside.

The C63 exudes an authoritative, respectful air that the designers managed to impart.

Seriously lovely
I like this C63 because it exudes an authoritative, respectful air that the designers managed to impart. Well balanced in terms of size and design, the grille is still imposing. Connoisseurs will easily notice the quad exhaust, evidence of its power, and the discrete spoiler, sign of its stability at high speeds. This is the devil inside, disguised in a three-piece suit.

Cockpit
The driving position is excellent: the steering wheel is a good size and the controls are well positioned. The adjustable seats cradle us like a straight jacket. The side and back supports are also adjustable; I found, however, that the side supports were a little too much as I kept bumping my elbows against them. As for the instruments, I would recommend that the manufacturer add a digital speedometer to allow drivers to see the exact speed they're zipping along at.

Kudos to the navigation system: you can read it at a glance without taking your eyes off the road. The A pillar doesn't impair visibility too much, but care should be taken when passing.

Apart from its sporty attributes, I'd like to mention the quality of the interior's sound insulation. On a practical note, the spacious trunk relies on folding seat backs to increase its loading capacity. The back seat will suit small children.

The driving position is excellent: the steering wheel is a good size and the controls are well positioned.
