2000 Hummer Road Test
The first civilian Hummer was delivered in 1992 after years of service to the U.S. military as AM General's 'HUMVEE' multi-purpose vehicle. Made famous from its involvement in the gulf war, the Hummer started its civilian duty with the respect and honor of a decorated four star general. This war torn soldier has never totally fit in with the working population of trucks and sport utilities. Since its inception it has marched to the beat of its own drummer - over, around and through just about anything that dared get into its intimidating path.
