Subcompact Luxury SUV: Audi Q3
It may be small, but the jury at KBB gave the Audi Q3 big marks for the level of luxury found inside it. The design is, in its view, smart and upscale, and buyers get a healthy dose of standard equipment right out of the box. Also mentioned were the safety features and other technologies and the model’s seductive driveability.

Compact Luxury SUV: Audi Q5
Not to be outdone, the Q3’s larger sibling also takes top spot on the KBB ranking in a category that is, if anything, even more fiercely fought over. Every premium brand has a solid entrant in the segment, and the Q3 outdid them all thanks to its tried and tested powertrain and its exceptional interior laden with technology.
Interestingly, in these two categories both the Q3 and Q5 made the final three for our Auto123 awards as well, but both lost out in our vote to the Volvo entrants, the XC40 and XC60, respectively.
