But Versatrak, the Centieme's all-wheel drive system that already is available in GM's minivans would be a must. It's a sophisticated and compact all-wheel drivetrain incorporating traction control that transfers torque to each wheel, from front to back, side to side when needed. Its suspension system is made up of struts up front and an SLA independent setup with coil springs in the rear. The conventional setup should be good for decent, but not spectacular handling even with its Michelin clad 22-inch alloy wheels. Braking should be good though, with Baer 6-piston calipers clamping down on 15-inch diameter front discs and 4-piston units on 14.5-in rear rotors.

To be fair the Centieme wouldn't need to be particularly sporting to sell well, it would do it on looks and features alone. Being a Buick it's fully loaded, with leather seats and trim, olive ash burl wood, chrome and engine-turned metal accents, overall the making of a spectacular interior design.

"A porcelain-color leather covers the seats and lower doors. The 'dusk' colored leather on the third row seating and upper doors contrasts nicely against the lighter hue of the first and second rows, giving the passenger-car ambience," said interior designer Yan Huang.
