In the center of the dashboard is a seven-inch LCD panel for the navigation system, along with temperature and radio controls. The center console has a shifter knob and a mouse-button that can operate the navigation, radio, cellular phone, and CD/TV functions.

The shifter knob and buttons throughout the car use Corian, the upscale product used for kitchen countertops, but never before seen in automotive applications. Plus, the Mark X has polished aluminum, dark and ribbed chrome accents too.

The floor boasts plush sheepskin mats, while supple leather seats feature tone-on-tone stitching throughout.

Elegance Outside Comes with Power Too

Besides the new Lincoln aluminum egg-crate grille on the outside, the Mark X has two high intensity discharge (HID) headlamps that can double the amount of light thrown out by a conventional incandescent bulb. It has a sleek 4,700 mm (185-inch) long profile, and slender polished aluminum, flush-mounted door handles.
