The 1-Series will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show in September, and will arrive in European showrooms this fall. And when will it arrive in Canada? Don't let Purves and his American team get you too concerned however, as the Canadian market definitely marches to its own drummer when it comes to compact cars. But still BMW's head of corporate communications, Kevin Marcotte, was not able to give a definitive answer stating, "No decision on if and when the 1 series will come to Canada. We are looking at possibilities!" Read whatever you want into the language used, but I'm feeling an exclamation point is a positive sign.
