Safety

The 645Ci has standard dual front, side and side curtain air bags, ABS brakes with electronic brake force distribution, stability and traction control and seatbelt pre-tensionners. For the moment, neither the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration), the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) nor the Euro NCAP (European New Car Assessment Program) have crash tested the 6-series.

Conclusion

How do you conclude and give a final un-biased opinion on a car that has all the driver's senses at its command? The 645Ci is vault-like in its construction and it is very easy to imagine a thunderous V10 finding its way under the hood. The only problem with this scenario will be the price.

BMWs, although not as reliable as a Japanese competitor, is turning out to be the better choice amongst its German counterparts. My tester displayed a few weird electrical glitches (window would come down on its own and the Park Distance Control display would remain on-screen for a minute after the car was moving forward) however they were few and far between.
