Waterfest XII

Held on the weekend of July 15-16 2006, the latest edition of Waterfest did not disappoint. Waterfest is the annual get together for water-cooled Volkswagens. The weather was not the only scorcher as there were tons of good-looking cars to gawk at. The vendors were numerous on Saturday

and Sunday we were treated to many a beautiful and modified Volkswagen. The ¼ mile runs and the smoke show competitions attracted lots of attention: everyone likes to see something break! Station wagons were out in force at this year's event; from the first generation 1980 B1 Dasher to a series of Audi wagons and, of course, my 2007 B6 Passat.
