Audi announced today that the ultra-hot RS 4, already scheduled to loose 2 doors and its roof in Europe, will be coming to showrooms in the United States.
By this fall, the 2008 RS 4 will be gracing US roads with topless 420-hp pure driving exhilaration. All of the mechanicals features that make the RS 4 sedan extraordinary will be carried-over into the cabrio. This means that the convertible will be only available with a 6-speed manual transmission and Audi's tried tested and true Quattro AWD system. Awesome-looking RS 4 19" wheels will also be standard as will the massive 14.4" front and 12.8" rear brake rotors.
2008 will mark some minute changes for the RS 4. A few new options will be added such as the Titanium package and Audi exclusive package. Essentially, the Titanium Package blacks-out everything while the Audi exclusive package turns it all crimson red inside.
Only 300 of the limited edition RS 4 cabriolets will be available in the US. At the moment, there are no indications that the super-cabrio will be offered in Canada.
