Whether you're in the city, on country roads or the highway, the C350 proves comfortable and pleasant to drive. Plus, it delivers amazing performances. My wife found it confidence-inspiring, even under heavy rain, and quite fun to drive. Our only complaint is the heavy steering.
The 3.5L V6 and 7-speed automatic transmission work hand in hand to make the driving experience easier, smoother and overall more enjoyable, whether you select the Comfort or Performance mode. The C350 is easy to park and maneuver through city traffic. Handling is predictable on byroads while the ride is supremely smooth on the highway.
Despite being capable of sporty performances (0-100 kph in 6.3 seconds and 80-120 kph in 5.2 seconds in manual mode or 6.2 seconds in automatic), this car does not encourage such driving. Rather, the focus is on staying relaxed behind the wheel. As for fuel economy, the C350 averaged 12.9 L/100 km (premium gasoline) during our test week.
Mercedes-Benz did an outstanding job in the braking department: only 34 meters are necessary to stop from 100 to 0 kph. The electromagnetic parking brake is effective.

So there you have it. The C350 is a stylish and highly desirable machine, especially in white. It also handles like a charm. Sure, we drove the higher-end model, but still, the new generation of Mercedes' compact sedan is extremely well designed. It will appeal to men and women alike.
